When Pro Desktop fits

Pro Desktop is a one-time €49 purchase for Windows and macOS, covering devices you own. After online activation, local signing and photo background removal work offline. Fonts and PDF resources are bundled into the installed app.

The desktop library stores reusable signatures and placement presets. Bulk signing creates local outputs and ZIPs; history helps you return to completed files. Those files do not automatically become documents in a shared web vault.

When the web workspace fits

Use the web workspace when the task depends on stored online documents or inviting other people to sign. These workflows depend on an account, an internet connection and the appropriate web plan or credits.

The free browser signer remains an option for occasional local signing without an account. It is a different workflow from keeping an installed desktop workspace with local history and bulk output.

Compare costs and connections

The desktop license is a one-time purchase. Optional OpenAI or Anthropic placement uses your own key and may add provider charges; it also sends page images to that provider. Local signing does not require that option.

Web Pro is a subscription, with included usage and any additional credits governed by the current web pricing. Buying either product does not automatically buy the other. Check the current purchase page for availability.

Move between them deliberately

Desktop shortcuts open the web workspace in the browser. Sign in there with the account that has the web access you need. The desktop license page is also where you retrieve the key, download again and see activated computers.

Signature packs can move reusable tools between devices or supported workspaces. They are not continuous document synchronization or a shared team account.
